The White Hart offers menus and a wine list to delight discerning tastes. The inn started life in the 17th century as a rest stop and watering-hole for travellers. Situated in the old Roman settlement of Welwyn, it was positioned on the Great North Road between London and Cambridge, a route famous for its highwaymen.
